Welcome to Hallockville Museum Farm. We have 18 buildings on 28 acres of farmland telling the story of 240 years of farming on the North Fork of Long Island.
The Hallock Homestead dates to 1765, and is interpreted to 1880-1910 Victorian era--when the last major changes were made to the house. New for 2007 will be tours of the historic Cichanowicz farmhouse and the Aunt Frances Wash house/Trubisz little house. These houses tell the story of the Polish immigrant farm labor that came to the area in the early 20th century.
Our mission is to connect community and visitors to our shared agricultural roots by preserving, interpreting and celebrating eastern Long Island's history, oral history and cultural heritage relating to traditional farm occupations and activities. Located on Sound Avenue, a New York State designated Historic Corridor, Hallockville is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Hallockville is located at 6038 Sound Avenue, Riverhead, New York 11901
